The mission of the College has been formulated around the needs of students and the community served by the College. Bishop State carries out its mission in Student Personnel Services by providing supportive services such as personal and academic counseling, tutorial laboratories and cultural enrichment. Bishop State Community College offers the associate of arts, associate of science and associate of applied science degrees and certificates in career and occupational programs. Extracurricular activities provided for the students are three intercollegiate sports programs - basketball for men and women, baseball, and softball. Additional student activities consist of the choir, band, and several student clubs, along with specific activities sponsored by the Student Government Association.
